24/7 Technical support
Some of the large computer companies advertise 24/7 technical support. This is just another way of saying that you can be on the phone for hours with someone helping you fix your computer.
Many large computer manufacturers' have also outsourced their technical support and customer service to foreign countries. This can make it very difficult to communicate effectively to solve your computer problems.
A normal technical support structure is made up of two to three tiers. The first tier people, who have limited technical expertise, work from a database of information to troubleshoot your computer.
Second tier people understand a little more about how a computer and its software work together. They can give you more help repairing your computer. Usually you get a tier two person on the second or third phone call attempting to repair your computer
The third tier technical support are the real technicians who understand how your computer works and how software and hardware interact together. By the time you get to this technical support level, you will have spent several hours of your time on the phone trying to repair your computer.

Mail Order Computer Repair
If you are unable to repair your computer using the manufacturer's 24/7 technical support, you must return it to them by mail for repairs. You can then be without your computer for weeks. ADVANCED Computing is locally owned and operated so your computer is never shipped across country to be serviced. We will repair your computer within 1 to 3 days - and your money stays in our community.
Upgradability
Large computer manufacturers build their computers with unique, proprietary parts which makes it impossible to purchase replacement parts from anyone but them. Then they may charge two to three times the price of a universal part. ADVANCED Computing's computers are built with all quality universal parts making them easy to upgrade and obtain replacement parts.
